Flat Calm Waters

We returned for another fabulous week on Arran, at the delightful Glen Rosa Stables cottage. As beautiful as ever. Flat calm water for our return today, having got the last ferry from Troon last Saturday. Another storm!

Lots of hiking, the highlight being Goatfell, from Brodick and back to the Saddle and down Glen Rosa. Tricky in the residual snow and over the boulder fields especially with the 2 dogs but AMAZING! Saw deer, a sea otter and a Golden Eagle at Lochrana. The cottage make this island even more special. Thank-you.
